Based on toy leaks, yeah, the three main Riders use the three different slots with an element focus. Saber is fire, on the right, Blaze is water, in the middle, and the third one will be thunder on the left.

The slot seems to determine what the subject of their book is. Right is mythological animals, middle is animals, left is fairytales and such. The third Rider's main book is Aladdin.

There seem to be more Riders, but their relation to the slots and the elements is still unclear.
