I wonder if Aruto may even sacrifice himself to destroy Ark. The potential for a meaningful conclusion to this story is there, I just hope they don’t cop out.

Plus when he saw Azu, I think he was already lost as the mere sight of anything looking like Izu is enough to sway him in his weakened mental state
