But she does care. She didn't shove the belt into any of the Four Horsemen, or The Fallen King, or the Dogs of War. She shove it into The Broken Prince. The prince whose tether from the start is The Avatar of Innocence, and he saw that tether blew up in front of him. With the tether gone, destroyed by War he sought redemption of, his soul was wrecked. And to see an image of The Avatar walked toward him, smiling, while offering him a Power to End All, The Prince found a new tether.

Thus The Prince becomes The Avatar of Malice.
