If you're ever in doubt, slather on more nail polish; especially on the edges of the stickers. The worst thing that can happen is your figures look a little more glossy.
I was a little sparing with Night Rogue, for fear of either ruining the figure or using up the borrowed nail polish, but by the time I got to Rocket Panda I was just caking it on. Would've used more, but it's a little precarious with the older/looser stickers. They can peel up while you're applying it, leaving them unadhered and partially sealed. It's like, you coat them, but they peel up before the polish can dry enough to re-enforce the bond, and now they can't stick to the figure. It's very tricky.
Still, I think it's a huge help on older figures. Probably better as a preventive measure than a rehabilitation, but I used my
worst figure
and it came out well above-average. That's a total win as far as I'm concerned. Thanks again!
