[Xtreme RX]

A busy first episode. Pacing, dialogue and story aren't really doing it for me at the moment. I get it's episode 1 and they need to fit in a lot of stuff into a (shorter than usual) runtime so I don't fault them, just feels kind of like stuff happens simply cause it needs to. Doesn't feel natural.

On the other hand, music and visuals are really nice and fresh, the CG stuff is mediocre as always but the way they are utilizing it is interesting. I also love the suit design and the sword choreography is really awesome.

From having a narrator Kakuranger-style to including an ending sequence for the first time since Hibiki (and our first ever Sentai-style ending dance - though the choreography is definitely more complex), I can't say the series doesn't feel unique. They are trying something new. There's a lot of familiar aspects of course but the overall tone feels different. So I look forward to future episodes of Saber and I hope it doesn't have the same issues its predecessor Ghost did.
