I don't have two displays, just the one and then what doesn't fit is stored in the closet, but I rotate whats on display at least once a month. This process also makes me appreciate my stuff more as it doesn't sit out of sight for extended periods of time.

And when I rotate things out and I feel like I don't want to display some, maybe its time to let it go.

I also use this process as an opportunity to dust off the ones in display. It is not open air, but dust still manages to get to them!
