Yeah, Adachi Asumu is Shounen's real name and the focus character of the ending theme, Shounen Yo. Shounen is a nickname given to him by Hibiki, possibly translated as "Boy" in the subs depending on what you're using.

It's a very pretty first set of episodes, for sure. It's probably going to feel pretty weird to eventually see Hibiki in a city setting, instead of jumping over moss-covered logs.

There's that scene in the OP where Hibiki is looking heroically out at the city, like the Oni are secretly protecting the city by keeping the Makamou at bay in their natural habitat.

What I like best about it is its versatility. In human form, it's a crisp salute, a friendly acknowledgement. In Rider form, it's all of those things plus a way of saying Hi Did You Notice These Cool Horns You Can Compliment Them If You Want But No Pressure Or Anything.

Reminds me of how Build would stroke his Tank antenna during his "I have the winning formula!" catchphrase. I adopted Hibiki's salute as well.
