Alright episode. The actors seem to be getting used to the role and stop being over-the-top, except Mei, but I guess this is the director's fault. Buster's actor seems to be more relaxed and I'm glad they didn't make the drama with Touma much longer.

I liked that Touma looked for the tale that the Megido is based on, so he might not be the most skillful rider, but the most creative and with the most knowledge. Also, the introduction of Desast was good, not fantastic, but I think the inclusion of the Wonderbook was a nice warning of how powerful he is. Calibur felt kind of the same, just threatening but you don't know what makes him threatening, aside from raw power.

The finisher remind me a bit of ToQGer, which is refreshing from the usual slash effect. And being honest, I thought the three Wonderbooks would be in episode 10, so I'm glad they're not pretending to not understand how the thing works, it's more like OOO, where it's not prohibited, but it's too much power to be used frequently.

Next episode seems to be getting us a bit of backstory.
