Alot of people give Goseiger grief because it came after Shinkenger. Which totally blows my mind. Shinkenger was so beyond boring and padded out that it was painful. Goseiger was fun and energetic after that mess. But Goseiger is unfairly considered to be sandwiched between 2 "great" series. I did enjoy Gokaiger alot but it's fair to say a decent part of my enjoyment is because of the anniversary fan-wankiness. I love that shit

Shinkenger is held up as some gold standard of sentai which baffles me. It was slow, boring, had almost zero character growth, it had a great twist that would have grown the characters somewhat. But that only lasted 6 episodes at the very END of the series and was immediately reversed. And it had a primary villain that for the majority of 49 episodes sat on a damn boat, drank Saki, and had anger management issues.
