Well, everyone is a rider. The mechanic aka sword smith is one too. I guess he's sophia protector and safe guarding the hideout. We reached gaim level of rider in first quarter already. Gaim started with main 4 and then durian and nuts duo. Later there's the neo genesis rider trios as well as knuckle. It wouldn't be surprising they pass out swords to every random character there is. It really depends on how the writer handle the toy line.
