I always forget that the fight at the big multi-level area happens this early. My brain keeps putting it later in the series, usually somewhere near, if not in the final episode (which is 29, of course). I have to hand it to this episode for having some good, un-transformed stunt work. We don't get a ton of that in Hibiki so it's cool to see a bit of it.

There's a weird choice this episode makes, where Ibuki spends most of the episode running around untransformed. I didn't really get why, but then when he Henshins simultaneously with Todoroki near the end, I was like Oh Shit That's Why. Them doing a synchronized Henshin is, by far, the highlight of the episode. It's so goddamn cool, and it only works because they made Ibuki stay out of costume for so long.
