Yeah, I don't want this to be a cliched Die Doesn't Give A Shit About The Monster Plots, but I seriously don't give a shit about the monster plots. While it's nice that there's movement on that front with the more articulate Mister Douji and Miss Hime, it's not that big of a deal. A more purposeful monster plot is not what I watch Hibiki for. Not that the action parts were bad or anything, but there was a part of me that, like, resented cutting away from Asumu and Hibiki's camping trip.

While there've been some fun moments in the action/monster sequences, the actual mechanics of their plots are... they are not what is memorable about this show.
