While I don't doubt that MLP will become one of Hasbro's top brands alongside TFs and Nerf, I don't see it shadowing them anytime soon. It has one popular show, yes, but the older fanbase is more interested in the fan made items, not the officially produced stuff (And, unlike 3P TFs, the MLP fan stuff don't cost more than a MISB G1 Overlord )

Haha I guess you're right. I'm speculating based on how dismal Transformers seems recently, with a much reduced output of product compared to before.

You did make a point about bronies not buying a lot of product. It's not something I see changing too soon either, casual bronies just don't feel that excited about the merchandise.
