Your shots are definitely a good start, keep it up! The best way to improve is of course to just keep practicing, and checking out the work of other photographers to see how they do angles, posing, composition, etc. There are a lot of them out there on Instagram and Twitter, for example.
For the Lume Cubes I personally have two of the Lume Cube 2.0 and their accessories. They're nice and I like them a lot, but some other photographers use different set ups. A lot of photographers use light boxes, I've never used one myself so I can't help much with those, but I know they're pretty common with toy photography. But honestly you don't need anything fancy, the more you experiment with what you have and figure out your own style, the easier it'll be to eventually figure out what setup will be right for you.
