I got my Switch version and messed around with it a bit. Two things I wanted to bring up:

1. It seems to run fine, I'm not the pickiest when it comes to stuff like high framerates or whatever, but I didn't encounter any issues from playing so far besides the system getting a bit hot.

2. You can redeem the codes in the box by logging into your Nintendo account in a browser and switching your region to Japan (yes, it should be Japan even for the English boxed version). You can then access the Japanese eshop and redeem the codes there and you can still access the DLC after switching your region back to what it was before.
