Halfway through the game on Extreme Mode now, and I've made a new discovery: Sagozo and CycloneMetal are secret-God-tier.

Both of these forms have mechanics that let you completely ignore the counterattack mechanic if you have trouble with it.

With CycloneMetal, the attack that was advertised as his anti-projectile shield actually works on way more that just those. If a boss has an attack where they rush at you, for example, Mezool? Twirling your rod infront of them will not only block their attack if you have RP, but will also absolutely shred their armor.

It's a similar situation with Sagozo. His Block actually lets you tank almost anything for minimal RP cost. And his third upgrade increases his armor damage, making him an amazing can opener. His switch-in attack is also pretty good.

Not known if these tactics work on the final boss yet, but will be sure to update you all when I find out.
