Reason I bring that up specifically is to show the extremes to which human socialisation can be a very complex and varied thing; for some people it works best when they are doing something exciting and huge (and as someone who's not that much of an expert on the subject, perhaps for some that's one of the only ways they're able to get something out of it), whereas for others it's the complete opposite. Humans just like being around humans, and that takes many different forms!

Oh yeah, like don't get me wrong, actually going somewhere, even to something simple like a movie, would've been nice, but I'm totally content just sharing the air with people I like, you know?

In the end they did seem to have a good enough time. I just thought the look I got for what I said was kinda amusing, and I hope they keep my incredibly low standards in mind for the future, haha.
