Would you say it's worth paying the current aftermarket prices for the base suit Seihou versions of Kuuga (not Decade), Agito, Hibiki, Kabuto, Decade (original, not Neo) and Double?
Again, for my purposes, I just want the best-looking figure I can get. Limited articulation doesn't really bother me, but wonky scale/design would. Do you think a better version of those characters is likely to be released? Do you think the Seihous for those characters have aged poorly?
Almost all of these are, in my opinion, the best figures any of these characters have ever received and will most likely remain that way for a long time, so if you do get any of them, I think it's safe to say you won't need to worry about them becoming outdated or outclassed by another version any time soon. I also had to pay inflated aftermarket prices for a few of these, and personally I felt it was worth it and that I still got my money's worth out of them.
In regard to Kuuga, as Kurona mentioned, the paint is different between the two versions but it's a very small difference that isn't even relevant unless you're looking at them together (And even then it's barely noticeable). Everything else about the two releases is identical. I'm not sure what the cost difference between the two is right now, but if it's significant, the Decade version might be the way to go since it's basically the same thing. You can check Den-O's gallery/review of the Decade version and he has some comparison photos between the two so you can see the difference.
