Well, usually these three tropes get their own developments later in the season. Kinda like how the characters in US sitcoms are fully fleshed later in the later seasons.

Now the toys must sell before christmas trope is on full drives.

How about a plot twist: everyone is basically good guys but misunderstood. The three "villains" just want to remake their worlds who got corrupted by humans. Calibur join simply to open the portal to rescue Luna. Kenzan will join Calibur later in the series once he was told what actually happened.

And the final boss is Touma. Since he is the King that will destroy the worlds with his Rewrites.
