I overall think Genesis is pretty decent. The best part is the Takeru and Shinnosuke just hanging out in the past. Honestly I'm glad that the Movie Wars ditched the whole 3 Act formula. It was also cool to see Tenkuji Ryu in his prime. (In similar vein seing Soreo in Reiwa The First Generation.)

Honestly the main problem with the movie was how weird the movie is with continuity things like Mr.Belt in the past and Ryu death being completely different from the show. Looking at the writing credits this movie was written by Makoto Hayashi who not only didn't work on either Drive or Ghost but this his first and currently only Tokusatsu work he's done. In fact the Ghost Novel has even retcon this movie to be an alternate timeline like Ryuki Episode Final or Faiz Paradise Lost.

It's just really weird to give a complete newcomer with no experience with anything toku related a crossover movie which also permenatly ditches the Movie War Formula.
