You know, seeing Father of Ultra just completely ignore the significance of Belial's outbursts for who knows how many years really adds fuel to my secret fan theory that the Land of Light is a society so utopian they're all utterly lost when it comes to dealing with anyone who deviates from their perfect system. I think the biggest lesson anyone learned here was Ultra Seven refusing to associate with his own son until he stopped being so edgy. I'm just saying, it isn't always hard to see why Tregear got so fed up with these people insisting on their own righteousness.

(And yes, I'm aware I'll probably have to either retract that last statement or double down on it depending on how the next couple episodes play out.)
