I went back to check out that line on a whim before scrolling down enough to realize it was actually two lines, and I have to say, especially because I didn't realize it'd be there, the extremely casual "it helps more than you'd think!" honestly makes that exchange for me. It just feels like the bit where you can most tell it's something Kobayashi wrote, because I don't think many other writers would ever want to take that moment and deliberately make it so... small?

In just a couple words, Eiji goes from giving heroic advice, to sounding like he's sharing quick tips on how to save on your electric bill or something. I can't describe it very well, and it probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but little touches like these are what make me speak so highly of this show and its character writing. It's so distinctly Eiji, and so very much OOO. I seriously think it's a brilliant bit of dialogue.

Nah, I'm just messing around; of course I love Javert and the Ganma Superior design quite a bit, for pretty much these exact reasons. Heck, his suit even incorporates the classic "crusher" teeth looking bits, which actually makes him a little more Rider-y than Ghost and Specter?
