There's tons of varying opinions about Juggler and his inclusion. A lot of people say the call backs turn them off from the show, but it's really no different from something like Star Wars with a deep established history.

In Mandalorian, big characters show up seemingly out of nowhere, but if when done right, it makes the viewer asks questions and get curious and look into the media where that character comes from. It's good world building that acts as a self referencial nod to regular fans and another starting point for newcomers to look into. I am certain Mandalorian has created a bunch of new Clone Wars fans, much like if you loved Ultraman Z and want to watch more Ultraman but don't know where to start - you now have Juggler, go watch Orb!
