Junko Komura by herself, with no Utsunomiya, is using a story structure very similar to Utsunomiya's in the current Pretty Cure season, down to the "new general appears but is killed off before the original ones". However, considering how Shirakura seems to be giving story ideas here (considering the parallel worlds...) maybe she will write something different this time.
