Any similarities are incidental to the fact that both Akaranger and Kamen Rider Ichigo were designed by the same guy and conform to his very singular design aesthetic.

I mean yeah, it does similar to Akaranger's design. It's just that it's unusual for a super sentai suit design to be so colorful and have a lot of little details. Usually a super sentai suit is pretty plain with some printed patterns and belts. It's reminds me of Kamen Rider because of the little details it has.
