Compared to Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc, you have more options in terms of how you collect those sub-lines. For Sentai, it's usually either you're only in for the Reds and/or Sixths or you're in for the whole team. There's no wiggle room unless you happen to be a huge fan of a single color.

I imagine that compounding that is the price increase -- years ago SHFs didn't cost that much; they were most commonly around the price of... well, the lower pricetag that main riders get these days. But as the line increased in quality the prices increased with it -- and that's why you see a lot less accessories, a lot less forms being released, a lot more things being Premium Bandai.

Like, for example; back in 2014, SHF TriceraRanger was 3780 Yen. 3780 Yen. And he was Premium Bandai. That's about half the price most SHF Riders on the site go for these days and he's got way more accessories; so if full teams of SHF Sentai were having a tough time selling back then, can you imagine how badly it'd go today when SHF prices are such that they'd at least be breaking 5000?
