Agreed. As cute as this is, it falls short of what's required. Think of series which have a story arc specific to the first few episodes: W will satisfy the plot between the first two Dopants of the series, but Decade will fail to finish the adventure in Kuuga World (which begins in Ep. 1 and finishes in 3).

It's like Toei still doesn't get it. Tsuburaya and the Owners of GARO seem to have an understanding of how this should occur if it's going to occur optimally.
