This is just my impression as someone who adores Kiramager, but I feel like it's been a pretty steady level of quality throughout. Episode 20 is even still my personal favorite of the whole series.

With the question you're asking, I think the most relevant thing to tell you is that it hasn't made any huge changes in style or structure since the first half. If you didn't vibe with what it was doing to begin with, I don't think anything has happened that will change your mind for you. Although it is worth noting they added a new major villain in the mid 20's who did a lot to spice up the bad guys' overall charisma.

I second the notion that the best thing to do is just not beating yourself up about dropping it and coming back if/when you feel the motivation to. Watching a show because the mood strikes, rather than out of a sense of obligation, is almost always going to result in a better time for the viewer.
