Yeah no, it's not at all a bad thing to have standards. If subs suck, they suck and you shouldn't praise it. This is how mediocrity starts, forum posts and all that don't matter to the suits.

What matters is numbers, and just watching stuff and giving them money tells the suits "Oh okay they'll just eat anything we fucking plate them." This is why certain game companies get away with heinous shit because you're actively giving them money and that's what matters, at the end of the day they look at the numbers. If they realize they can half ass shit and people will watch it, they'll do it. Kamen Rider isn't excluded from this, at the end of the day Kamen Rider is there to make money from kids in Japan, not entertain adults in the west.
