Oh definitely. Not even just the ending, but pretty much all the dialogue in the entire episode! They really paid attention to what every character had been through and their writing really let the actors bring the personalities of their character shine bright all throughout.

Getting as many actors as they can and pulling some real surprises. It wasn't perfect and the show structure certinly left some things to be desired but it's heart was in the right place.
