If I had one complaint about it, it's something that has a tendency to happen in Sentai plots that involve one of the team getting captured. It's like a 50/50 shot if the designated prisoner actually gets to do something super cool in the end to make up for being out of action, or whether they kinda get swept up and forgotten about in the bigger excitement going on, and Sayo is very much the latter here. It would've been real nice to see her get a chance to do some sort of impressive stunt or contribute a day-saving plan of her own, but that's simply not what these episodes ended up being about, and that's a little unfortunate.

Only a little though.

Shame that they force Sayo to take this hostage role and don't let her really help much. If she maybe had that idea of making the Go-Arrow enlarge with the King's help, or got to really fight Yodonna, or done an older finisher with one of the Mecha then maybe it wouldn't have been as glaring. And while it's a little disappointing that the guy didn't apologize again or actively take a role in rectifying his mistake, it's probably for the best in the long run.

The effects were the definitive winner here. Any detractor to Kiramager or someone who wants to give it another go might find what they're looking for here. Having Grateful Phoenix steal the show here again was a little surprising cause I was expecting more from this throw-down, but at least it "hovered" in the air cause that was honestly a nice touch.

The use of a Giant Go-Arrow here is probably (just guessing) inspired by Dekaranger 42-43. I'll admit that having drop onto Gigant Driller's "head" while it's legs are crossed was an awkward touch, but appropriate. All that just to destroy a deadly MacGuffin!
