I can understand that, certainly. One of the things that has stayed with me about the show is the relationships Yui shares with her brother, and also with Ren—I'm also weirdly down to write Yui/Ren, but that's another story. I'm trying not to reference specific moments for the sake of anyone unfortunate enough to be reading my comments and not having yet seen the show yet, but I am surprised that this storyline around her is never again addressed, but the shallow premise of the Rider War is upheld in later spin-offs/crossovers. This is really sad, I think, but, again, that's what happens from deciding x amount of years later that all of these things are related after all.

It's nice to talk about this in such a way despite not having been a fan of it, so thank you for putting up with me rambling about it!
