I think Tokusatsu can have a bit of an issue with its legacy content where it focuses on superficial elements, or parts that were intentionally subverted to be more lowkey or unimportant or negative in general. The portrayal of Ultraman Geed as constantly brooding about his father, for instance. And then there's other issues like post-series Blade content constantly spoiling the ending, or post-series OOO and Den-O content laser-focusing on very specific relationships rather than embracing the whole that made them so beloved. Ryuki always having to go through a Rider Fight... definitely sticks out as one of the worst!

Something I do like seeing with post-series Ryuki content, though, is Shinji finally getting to stand and fight alongside other Kamen Riders against evil. Even though it's usually just another silent suit in a crowd, it's just nice to see Shinji being able to beat up a monster with Faiz or Zi-O or Shinkenblue; where he can finally fight alongside fellow heroes. It feels earned.
