I rode 90 minutes south from where I'm at to get this. It wasn't the only thing I got today (check the Kamen Rider Figure-Rise Thread), but this was the primary.

I can understand someone who hasn't gotten everything to fit together and who's not where they want to be in life. I'm a college grad and I have little to nothing to my credit. The premise behind this book feels real and genuine.

I don't want to give much away, but this is definitely more adult in tone and it's predicated on the character drama and heart of the characters. I'm interested in more of this.

I do want to point out Kyle Higgins' comments at the end. It really speaks to a lot of us here. Higgins had those around him who gave him grief for his love of brightly colored teenagers with attitude and I myself grew terrified of spreading my love for that same franchise around back in high school (though I was in a mostly Sentai mood as a Senior). There is a lot of Higgins that I can understand and that's why I'm including images of the "Black Mail" from the back of Issue 1. Of note, I decided to omit a key image from the last page for the moment.

You really need to read this book, if only once.
