Since Saber is a magic-based show, I can excuse the Megid Generals being beaten by previous forms and then suddenly being able to overpower them the next battle. Zooous and Blades' confrontations being an example.

They kinda just... power themselves I guess with how much magic they can muster up. Whenever they're 'charged up', I guess, their eyes are glowing.

Edit: anyone notice the guard shape on Storious' sword is eerily similar to one of the Seikens that's yet to be revealed?
