Well, using too much of the Sentai footage limits what you can do with the show. If they used to much of it, they would have to write the show around the footage, instead of working into their own show.

That's one of the biggest issues with recent seasons, actually, and from what I've read, the people making this one are specifically trying to avoid those mistakes.

And it's only the second of fourty-something episodes. There's still time plenty of time to use all those fights.
