Yeah, and I don't mean to make the current favoritism towards hang-out vibes sound like some critical error or anything. I really don't blame a writer for looking at a funny, charismatic cast and writing more material for them. It's a logical thing to do! But there are moments where it's like Maybe That Comedy Scene Could've Been Shorter So This Mystery Scene Had More Juice. It's an easy balance to get wrong, even if it only takes this show down to an A- instead of a higher grade.
