So first thing first! New actors - Izzy was really good. It's literally the smallest thing, but her body language and tone when she's acting made her performance really good. Especially for a first episode! Javi on the other hand - was alright! I'm sure he'll get better once he's adjusted to his role.

The keys being in the orb...okay? I'm sure it could be explained later. Izzy ripping off her skirt was really cool in my opinion. I always hated how the skirt thing was never explained in-universe in seasons that had gender-swapping (MMPR, LG, LSR, etc.) so that small touch really did go the extra mile.

The villains on the other hand? Um - they're monsters I guess? It's just getting kinda boring with the monsters. I don't know, not knowing any of their goals besides "get more Sporix" just doesn't really make for compelling stories. Also, if they need super-charged Sporix - why doesn't Void Knight just kill all the Sporix as they activate so they supercharge? He obviously doesn't like them, and logistically he is still stronger than the team, so I don't know why he's keeping them around? Boomtower kind of makes sense (robot), Mucus does not, MOTW should literally not exist in this scenario.

Jane was fun again, J-Borg is getting....tolerable. I think my main issue (for a lot of fans) is that we were specifically told no comedic duo this season only for them to go back on it. So, uh, hopefully, they get better (J-Borg I'm looking...no wait, death staring, at you).

Overall good episode, can't wait to see how the team dynamic changes the next few episodes!
