Just got this in the mail, courtesy of Sentai King:





Story time: When I was studying in Japan, I went to Jungle in Osaka's Den Den Town (for those unfamiliar, it's like a smaller Akihabara in Osaka) and saw this guy for 1700 yen (about $16) and almost picked it up, but I couldn't decide between it and a few other figures. We didn't have much time though, and everybody said we would come back again on another day when there was more time, so I set it back with the intent to look more thoroughly when we return. I have no idea why I didn't just get it right then and there, because I knew I wanted it, but I digress. We never had another chance to go back, and I ended up leaving Japan without the figure. Shame.

So when I got back to the US, I started looking online for the figure and it was around $40! I stubbornly refused to pay that much for it because I had the opportunity to get it for less than half, but over time the price kept rising. I saw Sentai King had it for $40, so I figured I should grab it before it becomes prohibitively expensive.

I've been tossing around the idea of taking photos of my figures for Instagram, so I thought I'd give it a shot with this. I definitely have room to improve, but I think it's a pretty good start.
