For the record, the episode of Go-Busters that fight was lifted from was directed by Noboru Takemoto, while, probably more relevantly, the show's action director was Hirofumi Fukuzawa, who has been Super Sentai's action director ever since then. Before Go-Busters, he was primarily a suit actor who played roles including Shinken Red, a character which required a ton of very stylish and impressive work with swords both big and small, so I kind of expect him to have a good grasp on what makes a fight look cool. Yeah, if nothing else, Hasbro was definitely willing to flex the money they were putting towards the show in season 1. Glad to hear you like Steel too!
