Well I was excited to post my latest Zenmarket haul here but it looks like I ran into a problem.

So I ordered a Revoltech figure from Amazon.co.jp using Zenmarket as a proxy (along with some other stuff I picked up from yahoo auctions and other Japanese shops). I had the weight and dimensions all planned out so when they gave me the shipping quote I should've known something was wrong.

I paid the higher-than-expected shipping anyway and considered it my own mistake. I received the package today and found out that the Revoltech figure is actually a statue. That's why the dimensions and weight were so off.

So instead of the relatively small $60 Revoltech figure I ordered, the Amazon seller sent a $15 statue which is packed into a huge box. Once a package leaves the Zenmarket warehouse, they are pretty much hands off with anything they can do. I sent them a support message but I doubt this will be resolved in a satisfactory way.

So yeah, bummer. The rest of my order was fine, but this figure was the most expensive thing and the cause for the high shipping cost
