Outside of one episode celebrating Ultraman 30th anniversary that happens before the final arc. Tiga is completely standalone being set in a completely different continuity from the Showa show.

If you want a modern Ultra show that has absolutely no connection as a good starting point I'd also reccomebd Gaia which is similar to tone and production to Tiga. And has unique lore and worldbuilding and wonderful score by Toshihiko Sahashi.

But honestly you can jump into any show regardless of prior knowledge or not. These shows are designed first and formorst for newer audience each and every one. Though I understand on the surface it looks incredibly intimadating, with gimmicks,lore and returning characters and whatnot but it's honestly not that bad as the shows will explain away what nessciary for the plot for new viewers.
