Something I find odd is that almost none of the characters seem to really... care about the kaijus attacking. Except maybe Yume and Yomogi and even then the latter is still nonchalant about it or are more so mildly annoyed that the kaiju attack made the school late at announcements or something. Maybe they'll explain it, maybe they won't. I don't hate it, I don't like it, I just find it odd. Same goes for Mujina and the other guy with the "Can we leave after this?". Like, you guys are the villains, right?

But I have to give praise again to the same thing they did last episode, in that they didn't take long with Gauma explaining stuff. It wasn't prolonged for the sake of infighting and character drama, well it did for a bit, but Gauma was able to explain anyway putting it out of the way.

Also, I like to believe the Kaiju Euginists(?) aren't the main baddies. For long, anyway. I imagine the thing with Chise or some other bad guy will show up.

Lastly, I like the direction of the show is going. I think it's gonna be dependent on people's preferences, but I like how the show is kind of trying to be like actual tokusatsu where characters are talking normally instead of taking on le anime tropes, there's little to no music, there's some kind of ""awkward??"" or relaxing atmosphere to me whenever the characters are just talking to each other. It kind of feels like you just happened by onto some conversation and is just watching it intimately. I mean, that's how I feel, I guess. Not sure for others.
