Not really? The timer of how long the Imagin can last, since this is the second time we've done this story, feels pretty narratively convenient. They just start fading away in this episode. Kin jumping into this fight with the Moles... it feels so abrupt to me, like we didn't wait until it was final, we just waited until it was possible for him to sacrifice himself. Like, it feels in this final fight that he was going to treat whatever the next fight was as a way to die in combat. I just didn't feel it was necessary, emotionally. Didn't feel like an appropriate end/"end" to that character or that relationship.

Maybe a little foreshadowing in the preceding two episodes and bigger stakes than a few mere Moles would have resolved this problem and made Kintaros' and Urataros' heroic sacrifices even more heroic, as they are dramatic? I guess that might have worked a little better, considering Kai is supposed to be going all out on his plan.

Like, there’s a reason why Ura’s turn works on characters like Momo (an idiot) and Ryuta (a child), and maybe even Hana (looking for reasons to distrust Imagin) or Naomi (mostly just confused). But it shouldn’t work on even the youngest viewer, so the episode holding off so long on Ryotaro’s confirmation/cover is a bit of a drag.

Isn't that a contradiction, to say that the youngest viewer shouldn't be deceived but Ryutaros is, due to his youthfulness? Urataros is a self-proclaimed liar, so even though the deception was also a lie, it was something he warned them about in advance that they shouldn't trust him.

Hey dude, you don't need to go that far. I also make mistakes, you know? I'm glad you called me out that time, since I felt pretty bad about that for the rest of the day. This kind of thing happens sometimes when people get excited about upcoming plot twists.
