I’m done! I didn’t comment on any episodes for a while, and that was really just because the show was enjoyable, but not super good or bad. It was like eating a really nice bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar and butter! Mmmmm...

As for my closing thoughts, I thought it was one of the most consistently enjoyable Sentai I have seen. The characters were a lot of fun, the choreography was pretty good, and the soundtrack was excellent. Definitely the best experience I have had with Kobayashi yet. It generally wasn’t super ambitious in any respect, but it did what it set out to do well. My only real complaint in that the pacing was kind of crazy, with barely any progression for most of the show, and then cramming a bunch of plot in at the last second. Gouki was my personal favorite among the main cast, which is nice since I don’t normally like blues that much.

Solid stuff, you don’t always need to blow my mind with ambition to be a good time!
