One of my absolute favorite pieces of Build content is an HBV that, while it also introduces a suit that allows a TV lady who lives in a shoulder-pad to give life lessons, is mostly about how TV's tendency to prioritize fathers' stories over mothers' stories has created false expectations in a generation of young men. When these franchises want to talk about it, they're actually really smart about it! They just, uh, they don't really want to talk about it enough.
