I would say this is "another" digital world and Gridknight switched servers or something, or it is the same digital world from Gridman but rebuild by someone else. Maybe Chise?

Or they're trolling and it’s the real world and Gridknight materialized himself, and the Kaiju are being sent out from the digital world, Digimon-style.

I could see this happen. I'm not sure how since only Dyna Wing and Striker could easily "fit" over Gridknight, but who knows.
