I did that once the horrible official Faiz release went up and I decided I'd like to have everything I never watched backed up just in case...

And what do you know, Over-Time's now come out and said they've talked with multiple other subbing groups and now believe it is real and will also be stopping posting their subs.

(Although they're apparently going to actually quietly continue and just not advertise it on their blog.)

Basically, no, it's not really a legal threat as has been thoroughly explained. But they do really believe now they're actually from Toei and basically saying "party's over, stop before it does become legal."
