hell, nothing is stopping anyone from doing what IzuSubs(who is a new subber, btw, since they've only started subbing since Zero-One) has done with Zero-One and Saber, which is strictly uploading the sub files, and leaving it to you to find the raw video file. IzuSubs has not commented on the C&D letters and I doubt he ever will have to worry about it, because nothing on his website is illegal.

anime subbers have never had a problem with this, either, because they aren't getting paid to do this anyways, so what good is publicity?

No, but I don't have trouble knowing how much of a dick you're being. Really, calling people who are legit concerned stupid? Is that anyway to treat people like that.
