Trust me, there were moments when I wanted to bury Ippei in concrete. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea, and I really don't blame you, and whilst the kids never really develop too much beyond what you see in the first episode, I think there are moments that provide them with greater depth though.

In the end, I found myself kind of rooting for them, perhaps simply because I had invested so much time watching the show and wanted it to be for something, hahha.
